Notes and Links on Procite bibliographic software

These are preliminary notes. I'm learning as I'm doing. Procite is bibliographic database software for maintaining lists of references from ISI Research Software. The program can integrate into wordprocessor software like Microsoft Word. I'm using Procite to catalog my book collection, and while it has limitations, it's a lot easier than futzing around creating my own tables and designing reports, or a customized database or putting something together with SGML or XML. Unofficial Procite Sites

• Procite Mailing Listserv (Indiana). A useful listserv, with an online archive. The members can be quite helpful, although message traffic is low.
• Getting Started With Procite 3.2 for Windows A Self Help Workbook (University of Northumbria). A little dated, but useful.
